A woman experiences menstrual cycle for every 5 days per month for a minimum of 40 years. The blood, excessive moisture makes it all the more important for women to take care of hygiene during those days. Using tampons and sanitary napkins are the only options available. But both of these are made from bleached rayon, cotton and plastics. These products not only leave fiber in your vagina, but also cause bladder, vaginal infections, and Toxic Shock Syndrome. Tampons are also known to absorb the healthy vaginal bacteria. In order to keep these problems at bay, one must look out at other alternatives like cotton pads, reusable washable pads or menstruation cups.
