Common types of Vaginal Infections - Lactacyd

The common types of vaginal infections include - Bacterial vaginosis (symptoms include white, thick vaginal discharge and fishy smell); Trichomoniasis is caused by a parasite which is transmitted during sex and cause discomfort during sex, vaginal itching, pain while urinating and occasional stomach pains along with the white fishy discharge from the vagina; Chlamydia is the most common sexually transmitted infection which causes bleeding after sex, long-term pelvic pain. 70-80% women don’t even get symptoms of Chlamydia; Gonorrhoea and Genital herpes are passed during sexual intercourse.
