Know about vaginal infections during pregnancy

While you are pregnant, your body changes in more than one ways. Increase in the vaginal discharge is one of those. A colourless, odourless vaginal discharge is a symptom of healthy vagina. Disruption of growth of healthy bacteria and increase in yeast & viruses leading to foul smelling, yellowish vaginal discharge is a symptom of vaginal infection. During pregnancy, four common vaginal infections might occur, if proper hygiene is not maintained - bacterial vaginosis (BV), yeast infections, Group B Strep (GBS), and trichomoniasis. If detected promptly, these infections are easy to treat.
